As a club we wanted to take the time to share with you what our leadership in the social work department has to say around the recent events in our nation. As a profession it is our job to stand up to any type of inequality and injustice, and as a school and a club we are taking that stand. Change needs to happen, there is much work that still needs to be done, but we must come together and ensure we take every step necessary to advocate for and support those who do not have a voice.

Why do you like macro social work?
- I love having an impact on making change at a macro level that can benefit both social workers in the field and the clients they serve. We usually focus on the great work that micro practice has but it’s unable to be done without good macro practice.
What do you do for self care?
- hiking, listening to music and church.
