Doing speed drills on steel targets can be fun and satisfying, but oftentimes people sacrifice accuracy for speed. It’s important to include paper targets into your training regimen to be able to confirm your hits at speed.
In this video, we demonstrate slow and consistent fire at the center of mass of a paper silhouette, followed by a faster paced failure to stop drill (two to the chest, one to the head)

Getting reps in. We don’t typically use steel in our fundamentals and basics classes, but we do utilize steel in our more advanced classes. Steel is a good way to gauge effective hits, however, we always start with paper targets to make sure our fundamentals are sound.

Just received a shipment of TacStrike steel targets. After a few years away, is back in business. Running a few drills to break them in. Steel will be utilized in some of our more advanced courses.

This will be August 30th from 9am-12pm. Drop off location will be at Route 66 Shooting Sports Park!!
