Autoridades y expertos agrícolas piden a los residentes de Ventura se mantengan en alerta y revisen sus árboles de en busca del psílido asiático. “Este es realmente un hallazgo devastador”, manifestó Ben Faber, asesor de cultivos subtropicales de Extensión Cooperativa de UC. “La enfermedad es un asesino de árboles y está afectando a los productores quienes ya están teniendo dificultad y se les hace más difícil mantenerse y continuar cultivando”, indicó Faber.
