Healthy Hero Adventures at Reynaldo Garza @ Southmost Elementary!

This past two weeks, students in 1st through 5th grade participated in our Healthy Hero Adventures series, where they explored the importance of physical activity and healthy eating through fun, hands-on learning experiences.

Throughout the sessions, students stayed active with engaging exercises and enjoyed a delicious Strawberry Surprise Smoothie while learning how nutritious foods help fuel their bodies and support healthy growth.

Stay Active and Beat the Heat!

Avoid exercising between 12PM-3PM as that is usually when it’s hottest out.

Drink water before, during, and after physical activity.

Wear lightweight, light-colored clothes. Bring sunglasses, a hat/visor, and sweat-resistant sunscreen to protect yourself.

Take care of yourself and listen to your body. Take breaks in the shade and hydrate before you are thirsty.
