📚 In Every Head There Is a World.

On this episode, we sit Across the Table with Ms. Roxann Hurtado, San Benito Schools Secondary District Teacher of the Year, for a conversation about teaching, relationships, resilience, and the lasting impact of showing up for students, day after day.

A lifelong reader turned educator, Ms. Hurtado shares how a journalism degree, her father’s encouragement, and a commitment to never give up on a student have shaped her 12-year journey in education.

From the lessons students have taught her to the seeds she continues to plant, this conversation is a beautiful reminder that teaching is about so much more than what happens inside a classroom.

And at the heart of it all is her father’s enduring advice: “En cada cabeza es un mundo.” In every head, there is a world. 💜💛
