What a way to kick off a new school year at Riverside Middle School! Today was filled with smiles, new beginnings, learning, laughter, and a whole lot of Bulldog pride.

Every student, every classroom, and every staff member is an important part of what makes Riverside the special place it is. Our halls are better because our students are here, our classrooms are stronger because of our teachers and staff, and our school community is better when we’re all together.

We are SO happy to see everyone back! 💜

Today was just the beginning, and we can already feel that this is going to be an incredible year.

For students that did not pick up schedules on Friday, they will be available in the cafeteria starting at 7:30 AM.

Parents who want to walk students in must park outside our gated areas for our regular traffic to move through the parent drop off driveway and our buses to move through our loading/unloading areas.

San Benito School is prepared and ready to welcome our students and parents back to our campuses on Monday, August 10th.

As a school district, we recognize that parental engagement is an essential part of the success of our students.

On the first day of the school year, parents may es**rt their children to their respective classroom(s).

A new teacher, new classmates, or a new school for some students may be require guidance from their parents.

Once the instructional day begins, our campus staff will be ready to proceed with the day with our students.

Thank you parents, grandparents, and families for having our students ready and focused for a great new school year.

Friday was a great day of preparation and welcome at RMS as we count down the hours for the start of our new year!

We started with an exciting district convocation where our staff showed our immense pride.

We then shared a meal together as a staff before continuing to prepare our classrooms and school.

We finished with a huge turn out for our Meet the Teacher event in the evening. Our students and staff warmly welcomed parents and students as they explored our hallways and classrooms in preparation for Monday!

Here’s to the start of a new year, the beginning of another awesome chapter, and the 20th anniversary of Riverside Middle School serving our community!

Congratulations to Class of 2026 graduate Kian Jones on signing with the UTRGV Football Program to continue his football career at the next level!

Kian’s dedication, hard work, and commitment have helped him reach this incredible milestone, and we are proud to see him represent San Benito Schools as he begins this exciting new chapter.
