This past week, Miller Jordan Middle School welcomed the Cameron County Workforce Commission for an exciting career exploration experience! Our 8th-grade students used VR headsets to explore different careers and get a glimpse into their possible futures. 💼💻🔧

This hands-on experience gave students a fun and engaging way to discover new career opportunities as they prepare to choose their future pathways.

A huge thank you to the Cameron County Workforce Commission for investing in our students and helping them explore what’s possible! 🌟

✨📿 Today in Life Skills, our students put their creativity to work by making their very own bracelets! They practiced fine motor skills, following directions, creativity, and patience—all while having fun! 💕✨

We’ll continue building and strengthening these skills throughout the year. Who knows… we may just have some future jewelry designers and small business owners in the making! 💎🛍️💼

So proud of our students and all they continue to accomplish! 🐾💜

What a great way to wrap up the week! Our coaches collaborated to create a fun and engaging Friday where students could review and practice their volleyball skills! At MJMS, every student has an opportunity to learn, grow, and build confidence. Our coaches were actively monitoring progress, providing encouragement and feedback, and making sure all students were included and engaged throughout the activities. Way to finish the week strong, coaches and students!
