This initiative also serves as a hiring force, employing many restaurant industry workers who are furloughed due to the COVID-19 regulations. Thank you sponsors: City of Brownsville, United Way of Southern Cameron County, Brownsville Community Foundation, Foodbank RGV Inc., Brownsville Wellness Coalition and the UTHealth School of Public Health.

Guidelines:
• Two family members maximum per vehicle
• Must bring a photo ID
• Must wear a mask to receive donations
• All donations will be placed in the trunk of the car; the trunk must be clear of any items.

A donation portal is open for individuals able and willing to donate to the cause. Every dollar will go towards food, supplies, and labor for the campaign. Here is the link: https://www.unitedwayrgv.org/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=9
