Our arrivals and dismissal procedures are in place to keep all students safe.

Please help us by following these guidelines:
• Stay in the arrival/dismissal line and remain in your vehicle.
• Do not park on the roadside or have your child walk to or from your car.
• During dismissal, students must wait in the designated shaded area near the building.

📱Texas House Bill 1481📱
Texas House Bill 1481 focuses on limiting student use of cell phones and personal devices during the school day. The goal is to reduce distractions and help students stay focused on learning.

HB 1481 PROHIBITS the use of PERSONAL COMMUNICATION DEVICES during the instructional school day.

Under the new law - Meta Glasses and Smart Glasses are also prohibited as they are wearable technology capable of digital communication, audio/video recording, and transmitting messages.

The law defines a "PERSONAL COMMUNICATION DEVICES" as any device that emits an audible signal, vibrates, displays a message, or can transmit/receive signals.

La HB 1481 PROHÍBE el uso de DISPOSITIVOS DE COMUNICACIÓN PERSONAL durante la jornada escolar.

Conforme a la nueva ley, también se prohíben las Meta Glasses y las Smart Glasses, ya que son tecnología portátil capaz de comunicación digital, grabación de audio y video, y transmisión de mensajes.

La ley define "DISPOSITIVOS DE COMUNICACIÓN PERSONAL" como cualquier dispositivo que emita una señal audible, vibre, muestre un mensaje o pueda transmitir/recibir señales.

📣 Dress Code Reminder, Greypups!

As we kick off a new school year, we want to remind all students and families to please review and follow the BCMS dress code guidelines each day. Please make sure clothing is school-appropriate and meets campus expectations before heading to school each morning.

The halls were filled with excitement, smiles, and lots of Greypup spirit as we kicked off a brand-new school year!

We are so excited to welcome back our returning Greypups and our newest members of the BCMS family. Today was just the beginning of what promises to be an incredible year filled with learning, growth, friendships, and unforgettable memories!

A huge thank you to our amazing teachers and staff for making the first day so welcoming and special for our students. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!

Student Pickup Guidelines - Keeping Everyone Safe
As we begin the new school year, we want to ensure that student pickup runs as smoothly and safely as possible. Please take a moment to review these important pickup guidelines.

🏫AM: Drop off is under the canopy, entry is the cafeteria.
🚗PM: Pick up located on the patio between the office and gym.
🚶Walkers will head toward the crosswalk by tennis courts and make their way home.

Our BCMS teachers and Silver Stars had an incredible opportunity to kick off the new school year by meeting the one and only John Quiñones at our Beginning-of-Year Convocation! 🎤✨

It was an inspiring way to begin the year, filled with motivation, excitement, and a reminder of the impact we can make through education and perseverance.
