Fred Booth Global Leadership Academy Enjoy our page as we share exciting events, information, and highlight our MIGHTY Bobcats! By July 24, 1909, 2 free public school brick buildings were planned.

In 1909, the school board began looking for a suitable location for a school building. June 1910, Mr. Eudress of Austin had completed plans of both proposed school buildings and the school board accepted the plans. 1st Ward School, built in 1910, was renamed The Fred Booth Ward School on March 9, 1931, in honor of Fred Booth, a local business man, former school board member and owner of Mont Meta Memorial Park who had died the previous year.

💛🎗️ ISABELLA STRONG! 🎗️💛

Our hearts were so happy today as we welcomed our sweet 5th grade Bobcat, Isabella, back to FBGLA for a special visit! 💛🐾

It was wonderful to see her beautiful smile and have the opportunity to remind her just how much her FBGLA family loves and supports her as she continues her courageous battle with cancer.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and today we proudly wore YELLOW to show Isabella that she is surrounded by a whole community cheering her on every step of the way. 🎗️💛

Isabella, your Bobcat family is with you! Keep shining, keep fighting, and know that you are so loved! 💛🐾

Welcome to FBGLA Ms.Menchaca 💚💙💚💙
