⚠️ FLASH FLOODING RISK INCREASES THIS EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY ⚠️

This Evening:

Scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage from west to east through the evening and overnight.

Repeated and slow-moving bands of heavy rain are expected to develop, with rainfall rates of 2 to 5 inches per hour possible. ‼️

⚠️ Flash flooding can develop rapidly, especially in areas where water collects quickly (such as low spots, streets, and developed neighborhoods).

Tuesday (Morning through Evening):

Rounds of heavy rainfall may continue as the system moves across Deep South Texas. Flooding impacts may continue or worsen in areas that receive heavy rain overnight.
