Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) providers teach families intervention strategies they can use with their children to make the most of everyday moments.

📣 Exciting News from Region One ECI! 💙

We are pleased to announce an update to our Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) service area!

Effective immediately, Region One ECI will accept referrals for children and families in Cameron and Willacy Counties.

ECI supports infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) with developmental delays or disabilities by partnering with families to help children reach their fullest potential.

As part of this transition, Region One ESC and Easterseals Rio Grande Valley will continue working together to ensure families across the Rio Grande Valley receive the services and support they need. Families in Hidalgo and Starr Counties will continue to be served by Easterseals Rio Grande Valley.

Con efecto inmediato, Region One ECI aceptará referencias para niños y familias que residen en los condados de Cameron y Willacy.

ECI brinda apoyo a bebés y niños pequeños (desde el nacimiento hasta los 36 meses) con retrasos en el desarrollo o discapacidades, trabajando en conjunto con las familias para ayudar a los niños a alcanzar su máximo potencial.

SUMMER TIME SERVICES AT SAN BENITO SCHOOLS ☀️😎

San Benito CISD is participating in the USDA Seamless Summer Food Service Program. Children and teens ages 18 and younger can receive summer meals free of charge at the locations listed below.

For information regarding the summer feeding program, contact the San Benito CISD Child Nutrition Program Office at 956-361-6400. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the sites listed below on the designated dates.
