Our classroom highlight of the week is Ms. Olvera's Art 1 class!!

Students took their first steps into 3D sculpture by exploring the importance of measurement and precision. They practiced using rulers to create accurate flat shapes and learned how these shapes can be transformed and assembled into three-dimensional forms. These skills will serve as a foundation for future sculpture projects.

Congratulations to our Scholars who were selected to represent Collegiate Academy in this year's Battle of the Books competition!! 👏

Please see the CFA testing schedule for next week. These district assessments will be used to show what students have learned in the first 9 weeks and what areas of support are still needed.

Today in Biology, students had the opportunity to showcase all their amazing DNA models! 🧬Students were given time to critique each model with something positive and added a question about their model.

Way to go Huskies for showing your science creativity.

Middle & High school teachers recently participated in a professional development session focused on Content-Based Linguistic Instruction. Throughout the training, teachers were actively engaged and excited to learn new strategies and approaches to better support their students. Their enthusiasm and willingness to grow reflected a strong commitment to creating meaningful learning opportunities and meeting the diverse linguistic and academic needs of all students.

Our classroom highlight of the week is Ms. Vazquez's Spanish class!

This week, our Spanish 1 students took their language skills to the next level by engaging in short, interactive conversations! Students asked all kinds of questions from asking about birthdays to discussing the days of the week.

It was wonderful to see everyone so focused and eager to practice their new vocabulary and grammar. Keep up the great work, Huskies!

We are wrapping up an amazing Spirit Week today with everyone's favorite—Twin Day!

It has been a fantastic week full of school pride, and seeing all the matching outfits, creative duos, and groups all over campus today was the ultimate way to finish it off.
