🕷️❤️ Spiders We Can Love! ❤️🕷️

After reading I’m Trying to Love Spiders, our Kindergarteners put their creativity to work! They created a spider they were sure to love. 🕷️✨

From silly to sweet, these little spiders were full of personality! We loved seeing our Kinders turn a little bit of spider curiosity into a whole lot of creativity. 📚💚

🚀🔬 STEAM-A-PALOOZA was a success! 🎨🧮

Our Kindergarten students and their parents had an amazing time at STEAM-A-PALOOZA this week! Together, they explored Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through hands-on activities and challenges. 💚

It may look like they’re just playing, but there’s so much learning happening! Our students were practicing problem-solving, perseverance, creativity, and collaboration while having fun with their families. 👏✨

We can’t wait to welcome our 1st graders on October 27th! 🐰💚

NEISD is closely monitoring weather forecasts and local conditions. 🚌🌧️

Due to the potential for flooding and possible unexpected road closures, our school bus drivers will exercise extra caution to ensure student safety. This may result in delays or adjusted routes. The safety and well-being of our community remain our highest priority.

We appreciate your patience and encourage everyone to use caution when traveling in affected areas. Please check the NEISD website at neisd.net and follow social media channels regularly for real-time announcements and updates.

🎭✨ Learning Through Improv! ✨🎭

Our JK teachers had a fantastic time learning how to use improv to make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful for their students! 📚💡

Teachers explored four new strategies that incorporate different types of improvisational learning to help motivate students, encourage participation, and bring more energy into the classroom.

We can’t wait to see these strategies in action with our Jackrabbits! 🐰💚
