From San Antonio to Paris! 🇫🇷✨

Our culinary students are taking their skills across the Atlantic through our Trans-Atlantic Culinary Partnership with Lycée Guillaume Tirel, a partnership that has been inspiring students since 2015.

While in Paris, students will learn from French culinary faculty, explore classical French techniques and ingredients, and experience the power of learning from a different culinary perspective. Students will have the opportunity to step into the role of instructor and present their own cuisine to French students. 🇫🇷🍽️

St. Philip’s College was proud to be part of the YouthDoVote event, creating an opportunity for students to learn, connect and engage in meaningful conversations about civic engagement and the power of their voices.

We were honored to have elected officials, community leaders, educators, nonprofit organizations and members of the media join us on campus. Thank you for taking the time to be here and, most importantly, for engaging with the young people participating in this event.

This summer, 300 dual-credit and P-TECH students from across the San Antonio region gained hands-on experience exploring healthcare careers through the Healthcare Consortium Summer Bridge 2026.

At St. Philip’s College, students practiced CPR and Stop the Bleed, explored simulation labs and discovered careers in radiology, pharmacy, emergency care, surgical services and more. 🩺🏥

The experience made an impact — 97% of surveyed students rated it good or excellent, and nearly 3 in 4 said their interest in a healthcare career increased.

We’re proud to help the next generation of healthcare professionals see what’s possible! 💙🐯

Today, the SPC community remembers the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honors the courage of the first responders, service members and everyday heroes who answered the call.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we reflect on the strength, resilience and unity that emerged during one of our nation’s most challenging moments. May we continue to honor their memory through service, compassion and support for one another.

Meet Kiera Varela, a St. Philip’s College alumna and current cybersecurity student turning her passion for technology into hands-on experience.

Kiera earned associate degrees in Web and Mobile Development and Cybersecurity from SPC and is now working toward her Bachelor of Applied Technology in Cybersecurity, with plans to graduate in Fall 2026.

Through her internship in SPC’s Security Operations Center and involvement with the Cyber Tigers, Kiera is gaining real-world experience and putting what she learns in the classroom into practice.

“I realized just how advanced the program really is,” Kiera said.

With the support of her mentors and peers, Kiera is building her skills and preparing for what’s next. 🐯💙
