“Honestly, that's the best choice I ever made – going to San Antonio College as an 18-year-old. It changed my life.”
– Adam Rocha, SAC Alum
Adam Rocha turned a passion for filmmaking into a lasting community institution. While studying in SAC’s radio, television, and film program, Rocha founded the San Antonio Film Festival in 1994. Now in its 32nd year, the festival continues to showcase emerging filmmakers, foster industry connections, and inspire future storytellers.
Rocha, who also teaches video production, credits SAC with helping him find his direction and confidence.
The San Antonio Film Festival takes place July 21–26 at venues across San Antonio.
