You will always find people who want to see your life destroyed for no reason, simply because you achieved things they may never achieve. Not because you are special, but because while you were fighting, working, sacrificing, and going through wars nobody saw, they were standing still.

People will always look at your success, but very few will look at the trials, the pain, the sacrifices, and the hard work it took to get there.

You cannot change people. The best answer is to keep succeeding in every part of your life.

But this post is not about those people.

This post is about the other side of humanity. The people who genuinely love seeing you succeed. The people who celebrate your victories like they are their own. The people who support you, believe in you, and send you positive energy without asking for anything in return.

Today I placed this plaque in honor of Lisa Starr, a sweet soul whose life was tragically taken in a senseless hit and run accident.

Matt Starr, one of the most well known figures in San Antonio, together with his family, has become not only my student, but also my friend and now a sponsor of our academy.

Because of that, our second mat area, dedicated to our striking programs, will proudly be known as the Starr Family Dojo.

I also want to thank everyone who helped turn my dream into reality, especially Matt Starr, King Family, Gil Artmonz, Diego Family, and every single one of my CURRENT students.

Without all of you, this would still only be a dream.

Thank you to everyone who continues to send love, support, and positive energy our way.

And if you don’t like us, keep watching. 😎🖕

One of the biggest advantages of TM Combat Academy is our double mat area, allowing us to run different classes at the same time.

While our Kids BJJ class starts at 5:25 PM, right next to them our Beginner Muay Thai class starts at 5:30 PM.

That means parents can have their kids training, learning, and staying active while they get their own workout in at the same time. 🥋🥊

Our Muay Thai classes are tailored for complete beginners, people looking to learn real technique, or anyone who simply wants an amazing cardio workout.

No experience needed.
