At Edgewood ISD, we want every student focused, connected and ready to learn.

That’s why personal devices must be powered OFF and stored OUT OF SIGHT during the school day.

And it’s more than a school rule. Texas law requires public schools to prohibit student use of personal communication devices during the school day.

One notification can become one distraction. One distraction can mean missing directions, an important lesson or a chance to connect with classmates.

Together, we can keep classrooms focused on what matters most: our students and their success.

Good news — the deadline to enter the 2026 Salsa Bowl Salsa Cook-Off has been EXTENDED!
