Happy First Day of School for the 2026-2027 school year! Our returning young men showed up early this morning to welcome the newest members of the brotherhood and get everyone excited for the year ahead.

This morning, families gathered on the front steps for a Rosary Walk around campus with Chaplain Father Pat McDaid, praying for strength, wisdom, and protection as our young men begin this new chapter.
Since 1852, Central Catholic has been educating young men in the Marianist spirit, and we are excited for another year!

Congratulations to Central Alum Daniel Mozingo ‘26 for being awarded the inaugural Pier Giorgio Frassati Emerging Leadership Award.

This award recognizes Mozingo's impact on the community and his dedication as a faithful servant. We are so proud of this young man and can’t wait to see where his future takes him.

The Class of 2030 has arrived!! 🐍

This past Thursday, these young men came together for Esto Vir Freshmen Orientation, a day centered on brotherhood, tradition and what it means to be a button. On Friday, they put those values into action, stepping out into our community for a day of service.

Then came one of the most anticipated moments of the week when they officially found out which House they will call home for the next four years!

Welcome, Class of 2030. Five Houses. One Brotherhood.

What an incredible night for CCHS! Thanks to the hard work of our Wild Game Dinner Committee and the tremendous generosity of our community, this year’s Wild Game Dinner grossed nearly $630,000 and is on track to set a record for net proceeds benefiting CCHS! To everyone who attended, sponsored, supported, purchased raffle tickets, participated, volunteered, cooked, donated, and helped make the evening a success, THANK YOU! Every dollar raised goes right back to supporting our school and its mission. 💙

A very special thank you to Event Chairman Bobby Olivares ’79 for two outstanding years of leadership and service to the Wild Game Dinner. Bobby challenged the committee to make this great tradition even bigger and better, including moving the event to the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall and taking on the tall task of cooking and serving more than 1,000 guests!
Under Bobby’s leadership over the past two years, the Wild Game Dinner has generated more than $700,000 in net proceeds back to CCHS!

Again, a huge round of thanks to everyone, especially Bobby and the WGD committee, for another wildly successful night!
