Just a friendly reminder that Wednesday Walkers is back on for this week! Grab your sneakers, Wolves - we'll be out on the track at 7AM, walking until the first bell at 7:15AM.

👕 Volunteers Needed: NEISD Clothes Closet — September 9th!

We have 2 volunteer spots open for the NEISD Clothes Closet on September 9th, and we'd love your help!

Each school year, the Clothes Closet supports over 1,000 students from 300+ families across NEISD, giving families the chance to shop for new or gently used clothing at no cost. It's one of the most meaningful ways our PTAs show up for families across the district, and we can't do it without volunteers like you. 💙

As a volunteer, you'll help organize clothing donations and assist families as they shop the closet.

🚨🚨Don't forget to stop in at Alamo Cafe tonight for their Back to School Night. This is a friendly competition with the chance to win our entire Wilderness Oak staff a FREE breakfast! The more families who participate, the better our chances are at making PERFECT ATTENDANCE!

This is a dine-in only event, and there will be a voting station where families can cast their vote for the school they're representing. This helps Alamo Cafe keep track of attendance and determine which school has the best turnout.

Let's show our Wolf Pack pride and wear our school colors and invite friends, neighbors, grandparents, and anyone who loves supporting Wilderness Oak!

🐾 Wednesday Walkers is back! 🐾

Our Wednesday Walker program is an opportunity for our Wolves (Pre-K through 5th grade) to get some energy out by walking the track before school. We meet on the track at 7AM and walk until the first bell at 7:15AM, weather permitting.

We kick off Wednesday, September 2nd! Last year we had about 80 students and hope to see even more this year.

There’s always something happening at WO, and we’d love your help making it happen! 💙

PTA has volunteer opportunities throughout the year, from Bike Rodeo and Field Day to the Winter Party, stage decorating, and helping Mrs. Pippert in the library.

Whether you have an hour here and there or want to help with a specific event, there are lots of ways to pitch in.

A little first-day-of-school fun!

This morning, PTA passed out goodie bags for our BooHoo/Yahoo event, and the kids were greeted by Reagan Spirit.

What a fun way to start the school year. We hope everyone had a great first day!

📚✨ A little something new in our library!

Thanks to the generosity of our school community through last year’s Greenback Fun Run, PTA was able to purchase a new library circulation desk and book return!

We’re so excited to see these additions being put to use and to keep making our school library an even better place for our students. ❤️📖
