Hearing from a parent say that her son was making D’s and now made honor really warms my heart. One of the tutors that works with me, Mr. Joe, is absolutely amazing. He works so well with elementary age students. He’s a very hard worker and comes after school four days a week.He recently got married and now his wife is expecting a baby. I am so thankful for the people that work with me and give their whole hearts to these kids. Thank you, Mr. Joe.

Today one of my favorite students that I’ve had for several years, told me that everyday she likes to take time out to read her Bible. She then reflects on what she read. I asked her why she likes to do this. She told me that she goes on mission trips and reading and understanding her Bible helps her to spread God‘s message. She said she doesn’t want to give people wrong information about God’s word. 
I tutor this sweet girl to help her better understand her math lessons, but she clearly helped me understand the importance of spending time in God’s word. I guess we help each other out!

Matthew 18:3-4
3 “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

One of our parents showed me a reading comprehension score that her daughter took not long ago. This girl jumped up two grades in just a few months. Mr. Joe, the tutor that works with me is amazing. The students love him and he truly cares about their success. One on one teaching clearly works!

I read my book, “Glory” last week to a precious group of third graders. I always enjoy reading and explaining how and why the book got started. They were so interested in the artwork. I explained how difficult it was for the artist to draw the main character with so many different expressions.They really seemed fascinated. Their teacher, who I have known for a few years now, wrote me this sweet, thank you note.

loved your presentation! I think you inspired a few kiddos to become authors or illustrators yesterday! Many of them said they wanted to buy your book too! One student in particular could not put down the copy he won and insisted on reading it for the rest of the day. He carried it with him everywhere yesterday. ♥️

He currently has a 91-A in Algebra! 🥳 pat yourself on the back! He made a B on his end of topic 2 test after some extra time was given. Can't thank you enough! Not only for helping him but motivating me to advocate for him. 💗💗
Makes my heart happy! Thank you Jesus for guiding me. ❤️

I’m not a real big TV watcher. But I just finished a series called “Geek Girl” on Netflix. I was really impressed with this show. It reminds me of the book that I wrote called “Glory”. It’s about a girl who is being picked on because she’s a bit awkward. She finds herself being successful as a model and learning to embrace her differences. This is a good show for our young teens and teens.

I haven’t written on my Facebook for quite some time. But I just had to write this morning. A woman called me and inquired about my tutoring services. She said her brother was tutored by me. She mentioned his name and that he was tutored by me 11 years ago. that would be when I first started tutoring on my own. She mentioned that he graduated from college, has a great job and could do math in his head now. It took me a while to remember who he was. And I remember him now. He was a quiet, young man that was struggling to pass the math test required for graduation. He was worried that he will not graduate. His parents was also very worried. I remember we worked hard and I was really trying my best to help him. He did pass the test. He obviously was so happy as was his family. I remember going to his graduation. I write this because you never know the impact you have on people. You may not know about it for years and years. You may never know about it. But know that we all have a purpose in this world. God gives us strengths and gifts so we can help others. I feel so fortunate that I was able to help this young man.
