The Psychology Club at Texas A&M - San Antonio

Hey everyone!
Today we’re having a profit sharing event at 54th Street Grill and Bar Restaurant located at Brook City Base. (Address: 7307 S New Braunfels Ave). How it works is anytime from 11am – 1am, yep all day, just show the flyer below (either print it out or show it on your phone). From there, 15% of your check will be donated back to the Psychology Club. This works for dining in or taking out! This is super easy and we all like easy!

This is open to everyone and anyone (not just students & faculty) so spread the word! :)

This is an all day event (so you can show up at any time during hours of operation). Please present the flyer (print it out or have a picture of it readily on your phone) upon paying in order for us to receive the donation! Please share this post on your personal pages and emails if you can. Reminder: if you're tight on time, you can just order food to go (just make sure to present flyer) and we will still receive the donation!!

Hi Psychies!!!

A Work Health Fair will take place tomorrow Thursday, May 22nd, from 9:00 – 5:00 pm at the San Antonio State Hospital. We have been asked to assist with the following activities:

· Greet Vendors
· Help unload their supplies
· Prepare Pop Corn
· Make Snow Cones
· Hand out Lunches
· Take down tables and chairs

Over 150 mental health employers and vendors will be on site. It is an excellent opportunity to network, hand out business cards and have your resumes looked at.

Please call/text or email me if you are free to assist for even 1 hour of your day. Hope to see you there!!

Volunteers Needed for Festival de Cascarones this Sunday, April 27th!!!

The Psychology Club will be selling turkey legs to the general public in attendance. The event will be held from 2PM-7PM but volunteers are needed both before and after as well.

We have made a volunteer sheet with 30 minute volunteer shifts in order to better accommodate our volunteers. We hope that you enjoy the festival in between shifts! We want you to have a great time!
