Happy Father’s Day💕

Every year since my father and husband passed away, we all struggle just a little bit to figure out ways to continue to celebrate them on Father’s Day. As the years move on (12 years now), the kids and I are starting to laugh again at the memories of my father – Always choosing the seats up fron...

Whether you’ve lost you dad like I have or are moving through losing your dad now - just know the time you have is the greatest gift. Stories and lessons. Thanks to my Dad for being the greatest role model of what a man looks like. Cheers to all the dads out there- especially my son and his son. 💕 Happy Father’s Day!

Courage. To put yourself out there after a Loss. I am so grateful for good friends. Thank you Yesenia Lamas for ringing in the New Year with me. Forever Thankful for your continued friendship through my journey.

If you know me, then you know that for years I have been saying, “How could I ever date again after having the most fulfilling marriage of 26 years?”  I didn’t get divorced; my husband died of Cancer. So, one night after a couple of drinks of liquid courage, I signed up for a dating servi...

This Hospice Month, I want to shout out the hospice teams who do some of the most meaningful—and often unseen—work in healthcare. Your presence, patience, advocacy, and deep compassion change lives in ways that can’t always be measured.

Thank you for welcoming me as a partner in care and for allowing me to help educate families about the comfort and support hospice brings. You are true lights in this world. 🕊️

Thanksgiving brings families together around the table—sharing stories, memories, and the moments that matter most. It’s also a meaningful time to talk about something we often avoid: our wishes if something were to happen to us.

These conversations aren’t morbid—they’re a gift. They give your loved ones clarity, comfort, and confidence during uncertain times. Sharing your preferences for care, support, or end-of-life decisions can ease stress later and strengthen connection now.

If you feel ready, let this season of gratitude also be a time of honesty, clarity, and love. Your voice matters—and your family deserves to hear it. 🧡

As the holidays approach, many people feel a mix of emotions—joy, nostalgia, and for some, deep grief. This time of year can be especially tender when you’re missing someone you love or navigating a season that doesn’t feel the same anymore.

If this resonates with you, please know you don’t have to carry it alone. Whether you need a listening ear, guidance, or gentle support through the holidays, we’re here. 💛

Reach out anytime. Your grief deserves space, compassion, and community.

During Hospice Month, I’m proud to celebrate the partnerships that make compassionate end-of-life care possible. Working alongside hospice nurses, social workers, chaplains, case managers, and volunteers reminds me how powerful a coordinated care team can be.

Together, we help families understand their choices, access support earlier, and feel less alone during the end-of-life journey. Here’s to the hospice teams who show up with heart every single day. 🤍

Caring for a loved one is meaningful work—but it can also be exhausting, especially when you’re trying to do it all on your own. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or simply need a little time to rest and recharge, respite care may be exactly what you need.

LOLA is here to help. Reach out to us, and we can connect you with trusted in-home care companions or doulas who provide compassionate, reliable support. You don’t have to wait until burnout hits—taking a break is part of caring well. 💙

If you need respite, we’re just a message away.

If your loved one is falling more often, struggling with daily tasks, or you’re noticing changes that worry you… it might be time to explore additional support.

Palliative care is a beautiful option that many families don’t realize is available long before hospice. It focuses on comfort, symptom management, emotional support, and improving quality of life—at any stage of a serious illness.

Asking for help isn’t giving up. It’s giving your loved one the care, dignity, and stability they deserve. 💙

If you’re unsure where to start or what questions to ask, I’m always here to help guide you.
