This month we will feature one of our Psychology seniors, Mia Sanchez! We asked her why she became a Psychology major, and this is what she said: "The exact moment I decided to major in psychology was on a college tour with another institution. I overheard one of the student guides mention he is studying to become a physical therapist. The word “therapist” stayed in my head for the rest of the day. When I came back home, I researched what to study to become a therapist and discovered the world of various psychology fields! I/O psychology piqued my interest and now I am on the path of becoming an I/O psychologist, which I never would have guess back when I was first applying for college. I have that random student tour guide to thank because he is the sole reason I’m in psychology today!"
