Heintz Preschool at Congregation Agudas Achim in San Antonio

Heintz Preschool at Congregation Agudas Achim in San Antonio with before and aftercare options available. We accept children ages 6 weeks to five years old.

Heintz Preschool at Congregation Agudas Achim offers:

• Advanced yet nurturing learning opportunities
• Impassioned and educated staff
• Hands-on director and other leadership
• Focus on education development
• Dedicated Jewish Holiday programming
• Dynamic specialty classes enriching the mind and body
• Passionate teaching of Jewish values and culture
• Weekly Havdalah and Shabbat services lead by Rabbi and Hazzan

The core preschool hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Our curriculum is designed to meet the developmental, social and academic needs of each child. For our oldest students, we offer a PreK curriculum that develops a sound foundation and nurtures the whole child. Experienced and/or certified teachers are in every classroom, and student/teacher ratios are kept at a minimum. Specialty classes are included in every school day: Hebrew, Yoga, Music, Movement, Motor Skills, Art, Spanish, and Library. The beginning and end of every week are particularly special at Heintz Preschool. We celebrate Shabbat weekly and learn about the Jewish holidays as they come up throughout the year. The excitement in the building is contagious; and if you have not heard what Heintz Preschool has to offer, reach out to us!
