The Gathering Place

Metro Health is hosting a Vaccine Clinic at The Gathering Place today, Friday, March 7, from 11 AM – 3 PM. This clinic is open to the public and offers low-cost or free vaccinations for those who may need them.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this opportunity, stop by! Metro Health staff will be on-site to answer questions and provide support.

Sneak peak of our first group of 6th graders to visit Bamberger Ranch! They spent 2 nights and 3 days exploring, learning and experiencing this incredible space! Can’t wait to share more of their adventures! We are so proud of these kids and grateful for everyone who has made this possible for them.

Hi Friends! We hope everyone stayed warm and had some fun in the snow today! School will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22 at our regular start time.

Due to the weather forecast and to ensure the safety of our students, caregivers and staff, The Gathering Place is canceling school on Tuesday, January 21.

We will send out a message on Tuesday afternoon indicating our plans for Wednesday.

Some highlights from this week’s project showcase!

From ideas to impact, this week’s Project Showcases gave our students the chance to share their projects and the processes behind them with our amazing community. A true community effort—we are so grateful for the support of our caregivers, families, and volunteers who champion our kids not only on Showcase days but throughout the semester. Thank you for making this possible. We can’t wait for next week’s showcases.

Our Kindergartners had their second early arts experience this year! Thank you to for partnering with us to bring these performances to our students! Our 5th grade axolotls have been diving into the world of science! Here are two of them - one closely examining an igneous rock and another with her super creative cloud project. We love seeing our students learn about and explore the natural world.
