What is Codeup
Codeup was founded in November of 2013 in San Antonio, Texas, when three visionaries – Michael Girdley, Chris Turner, and Jason Straughan – realized the shortage of developers for hire was a problem that everyone came to accept until we didn’t.
We are a coding bootcamp that offers two 20-week full-time career accelerator programs in full-stack web development and data science. Our unique education approach disrupts traditional higher education modules by working directly with employer partners to create dynamic, relevant and in-demand curriculum. We not only prepare our students to be technically proficient but also help them develop strong soft skills that will carry them long into their careers.
We are still headquartered out of San Antonio, Texas, but now hold a second campus location in Dallas, Texas. Codeup hopes to make its corner of the world a little better by solving a big, meaningful problem for its community and the country—one person at a time. We’re here to help you create your tomorrow.
