We had an amazing time during Summer Programs! The weeks were full of laughter, projects, games, on-site field trips, and making memories with friends. Our Kinder Readiness scholars also worked hard and are ready to tackle the adventure of kindergarten.
Thank you to all our faculty and campers who made Summer Programs so incredible!

Our Middle School Spiritline team had an incredible experience at the ShowMakers of America camp! Over the course of camp, the team learned more than 10 dances, developed new skills, built confidence, and had a great time together.
Their hard work and positive attitude earned them the Most Disciplined Team award and Team of the Day recognition. We are also proud to celebrate our All-Star Dancers: Hannah, Claire, Gracie, and Victoria. Congratulations as well to Hannah, Scarlett, and Louisa for receiving Standout Performer medals for their exceptional performances throughout camp.
We are so proud of our Spiritline athletes for representing our school with excellence, dedication, and school spirit. Fantastic job, Spiritline!

Senior Spotlight: ⚓️Brayden Salzwedel!
Brayden has been part of the Great Hearts Northern Oaks family since 2015 as an inaugural scholar, making his journey especially meaningful. Reflecting on his time at GHNO, Brayden shares:
“Being in an environment focused on truth, goodness, and beauty helped shape both my academic and personal endeavors. It challenged me to do my best in the classroom, on the sports fields, and in everyday life.”
One of Brayden’s proudest accomplishments was being a Varsity runner on the 2023 Cross Country State Championship team, an experience that taught him discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.
A class that made a lasting impact was Economics with Mr. Reardon, which sparked his passion for understanding how people think, make decisions, and interact in everyday life…ultimately inspiring his decision to pursue a degree in economics.
Among his most cherished memories is the day his father returned home from deployment and surprised him in Mrs. Borushko’s 4th grade classroom, while the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Lower School community lined the hallways to celebrate his homecoming with songs and joyful support.
Brayden’s favorite academic project was his senior thesis, “An Analysis on the Nature of Beauty,” which explored themes through The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Republic by Plato, and the Bible, reflecting the kind of thoughtful inquiry that has defined his Great Hearts education.
This summer, Brayden will continue his journey at the United States Naval Academy, where he plans to study economics and pursue a future in aviation.
We are so proud of Brayden and all he has accomplished. Fair winds and following seas! 🇺🇸⚓ ⚓️
