We are thrilled to announce the induction of 10 exceptional new members into Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society. Each member has demonstrated outstanding scholarship, not only in political science but across their academic pursuits, meeting the rigorous criteria set by the national constitution of Pi Sigma Alpha, the by-laws of the Mu Psi chapter, and the standards of the Association of College Honor Societies.

A special thank you to Claire Saldana, President of Pi Sigma Alpha, for her exemplary leadership in organizing the induction ceremony, and to Dr. Arturo Vega and Dr. Ian Smith for their esteemed participation.

We want to extend a well-deserved “Great Job!” to all Political Science majors that participated in the 2023 Research Showcase and a special shout-out to all the winners!

Lastly, a massive congratulations to Dr. Betsy Smith for securing a Department of Education Grant for $2,834,710, entitled: “Title V: St. Mary’s University Belongingness and Servingness”

St. Mary’s course offers a glimpse of international policymaking St. Mary's University course prepares students for the annual Eugene Scassa Mock Organization of American States.
