World BJJ classes!!!

Easy Monday!

We had such a amazing weeks last week. I can’t wait to this week’s classes.
See you on the mats.

Good hygiene is part of being a good training partner.

Before your first BJJ class:

- Wear clean clothes.
- Trim your fingernails and toenails.
- Tie back long hair.
- Avoid strong cologne or perfume.
- Cover small cuts or scrapes.
- Bring water.

BJJ is close-contact training, so cleanliness matters.

Nobody wants to train with someone who smells like they lost a fight with a gym bag.

Come clean, come ready, and come willing to learn.

Do you need a gi for your first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class?

Maybe.

Some classes use the traditional gi. Other classes are no-gi, where students wear athletic clothes such as a rash guard, a fitted shirt, shorts, or leggings.

The best answer is simple:

Ask the coach before you show up.

That way, you do not waste money buying gear you may not need yet.
