🏁 Yesterday at our All Pro Dad Kick-Off! We are SO excited to begin our second year and all the amazing things we have planned! 💙💛
A huge thank you to our incredible father leaders and mother volunteers who help make this wonderful program possible!

Our first meeting (dads/father figures and students) will be held on September 11, 2026, from 7:00–8:15 AM in the Carlos C**n gym, topic: “Reading”. Translation devices will be available! 🐨💙💛
Together, we strengthen our families and our amazing Koala community!

This event is open to all families from Title I schools, and we would love to see our Koala community represented! 🐨💙

Join us for a whole day filled with valuable resources, interesting and helpful sessions, family support, lunch, and lots of exciting drawings! 🎁✨

🏁 Driven with Purpose!

Week One back to school is officially in the books! And we are already Driven with Purpose! ✨

Our first Monthly Volunteer Meeting #1 was filled with ideas, suggestions, updates, and lots of great conversation as we work together to serve our students, families, staff, and our entire Koala community in the best way possible.

Every volunteer brings something special, and together, we can make a meaningful difference! When we work together with purpose, there’s no limit to what our Koala community can accomplish. 🐨

Volunteer Orientation is held every Wednesday from 12:00–12:30 PM in the Family Engagement Classroom B116.

🗣️ Spanish-speaking families are welcome! We speak Spanish.

¡La primera semana de clases ya quedó atrás y ya estamos Impulsados con Propósito! ✨

Nuestra primera Reunión Mensual de Voluntarios #1 estuvo llena de ideas, sugerencias, actualizaciones y excelentes conversaciones mientras trabajamos juntos para servir de la mejor manera posible a nuestros estudiantes, familias, personal y a toda nuestra comunidad Koala.

Cada voluntario aporta algo especial y, juntos, podemos marcar una gran diferencia. Cuando trabajamos unidos y con propósito, no hay límites para lo que nuestra comunidad Koala puede lograr. 🐨

What an AMAZING first week back at Carlos C**n Elementary! 💙 We have loved seeing our Koalas back in the halls, classrooms, and learning together. From big smiles and new friendships to learning, laughter, and lots of exciting moments, our first week has been one to remember!
We are so proud of our students for coming to school ready to learn, grow, and give their very best. A huge thank you to our incredible staff and families for helping us get our school year off to such a wonderful start!

¡Qué PRIMERA semana tan INCREÍBLE de regreso en Carlos C**n Elementary! 💙 Nos ha encantado volver a ver a nuestros Koalas en los pasillos y salones, aprendiendo y compartiendo juntos. Desde grandes sonrisas y nuevas amistades hasta aprendizaje, risas y muchos momentos emocionantes, ¡nuestra primera semana ha sido inolvidable!
