📚✏️ Fraction Friday: Back-to-School Edition ✏️📚

The school year just started, but the math is already adding up:

✅ 5 school days out of 180 = 1/36 of the year done
🍎 3 subjects before lunch out of 6 total = 1/2 the day mastered
🎉 2 weekend days ÷ 7 = 2/7 freedom

Fractions show us that every little piece counts—whether it’s a week, a subject, or a well-earned break. Here’s to making this school year add up to something amazing! 🙌

Happy Pi Approximation Day! 🥧➗🔢

Why 22/7? Because it’s a simple fraction that gives us a surprisingly close (and delicious) estimate of π ≈ 3.14!

One little ratio unlocks huge ideas—from circles to infinity. ♾️ ✨
So today, let’s turn curiosity into discovery:

🟣 Find something circular
🟣 Measure its circumference and diameter
🟣 Divide to see how close you get to 22/7!

It’s a perfect day to explore how math connects everything—with joy, wonder, and maybe a slice of pie. 🧠🥧

📸 Tag us to share your approximations or pie pics!

That’s a Wrap on ISTE 2025! 🎉

We’re still buzzing from an incredible week in San Antonio at !

Big thanks to everyone who stopped by the AERDF booth, stepped onto the Fraction Ball court, grabbed a trophy (or a stress ball 😄 🏀), and shared your passion for joyful, movement-based learning.

This year, we:
✅ Showcased how Fraction Ball turns math into play
✅ Connected with hundreds of educators, district leaders, and edtech innovators
✅ Kicked off our 225 in 2025 campaign to bring courts to schools across the country
✅ Heard over and over: “This is the most engaging thing we’ve seen all day!”

We’re grateful to AERDF for featuring us as an awardee, and to every teacher who told us: “Finally, something that feels built for us.”

Let’s keep the momentum going.

🇺🇸 United Slices of America! 🍉🍰🍪
This 4th of July, we celebrate liberty, fireworks, and equally shared snacks.

🔹 1 cake ÷ 8 friends = 1/8 slice each
🔹 6 cookies ÷ 3 cousins = 2 each
🔹 1 watermelon = no chance it makes it to dinner 😅

Math is on your plate this 4th, and real-life fractions never tasted so good. 🍴💯

☀️ Fraction Friday: The Longest Day = More Light to Divide!

It's officially summer! Today is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. That’s more than 2/3 of the day lit up by the sun in many places. 🌍⏳

🍉 Cut a watermelon into 8 slices and eat 3? That’s 3/8 gone (and delicious).
⛱️ Spend 3 out of 6 hours at the beach swimming? That’s 1/2 in the water!
🍦 Share a 3-scoop sundae with two friends? You each get 1/3 (fair and tasty).

Fractions help us divide our time, share summer snacks, and make the most of long, sunny days.

💬 How are you spending your longest day of the year? Tell us in fractions! ⬇️
