Today we recognize students who have earned their Dual Credit Graduation Cords and cheer them on as they announce their commitment to continue their education at Northwest Vista College.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and resilience these Wildcats have shown. Their achievements in Dual Credit are just the beginning, and we’re excited to welcome them as they take their next steps at NVC.

Yesterday we hosted our Northside ISD Dual Credit partners for our End‑of‑Year Dual Credit Review Session. Together, we celebrated this year’s successes, reviewed next year’s enrollment and success metrics, explored opportunities for course pathway expansion, and more.

Way to go Adrian! As a dual credit student, you're leading the way for future O'Connor Panthers and NVC Wildcats! We are so proud of all your accomplishments!

Congratulations to our 2025–2026 Head Drum Major Adrian Alanis on being awarded the Battle of Flowers Association Scholarship for Achievement in the Arts. This $10,000 scholarship is awarded to only five seniors participating in the Battle of Flowers Band Festival.

As a recipient, Adrian will be recognized at the Band Festival this Thursday and will also be featured on a parade float during Friday’s parade. He is a phenomenal leader in our band and we look forward to his continued success. Way to go Adrian! ☺️
