After over 10 years, the Wide Area Virtual Environment or the WAVE, as we knew it, is no more. In its place, the VirTra 180. The team is looking forward to using this new technology to enhance the our courses at the Medical Readiness Training Center. Let the fun begin!

Had a great visit with LtGen Ediger, AF/SG, BGen Murphy, ACC/SG, BGen Payne, AMC/SG, and BGen Miller, AFMOA/CC. Also honored to have received a Letter of Appreciation from BGen Murphy for outstanding medical simulation support of the new and improved EMEDS/GST course. This was a true team effort and I have to recognize the invaluable contributions of my teammates in the SIM Cell. Also, the EMEDS cadre and leadership have been the best partners and we are very lucky to be working with them. I have to give special thanks to Col Barb Marchiando for always looking out for us and for being the mastermind of this great course.

It has been a little while since we updated the Camp Bullis Medical Simulation Team page. So, we will start by re-introducing the team. With several personnel changes in the last two years, these are the most current members:

Ray "Stingray" Machacon, Team Lead
Diana "Hybrid" Huezo
Tony "Robotics" Garcia
Steve "B2" Miller

More changes coming up...

A big CONGRATULATIONS goes to our brother and teammate, Woody Woodcox who has recently been hired as the new Deputy Program Manager for the Navy Medical Modeling and Simulation Program. He's a BIG WIG now!

On Monday, we were visited by our boss, Mr. Sudhakar Kesavan, President and CEO of ICF International. I am extremely proud of my teammates for pulling together and conducting an outstanding tour. Before we ended the day, we presented Mr. Kesavan a memento to commemorate his visit.
