Last night, we celebrated the incredible achievements of our graduating seniors at the Honors Senior Banquet! 🎓✨ Faculty members had the honor of hooding the graduates during a heartfelt ceremony, marking the culmination of their hard work and dedication.

We are so proud of each senior and all they have accomplished during their journey in the Honors Program. As they prepare for the next chapter, we know they will continue to make us proud. Congratulations, graduates—you inspire us all!

Meet Elisa Estrada, a dedicated senior in the Honors Program and Engineering Management major, who’s making strides as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at Avanzar Interior Technologies!

During her time at Avanzar, Elisa has gained hands-on experience with the Toyota Production System and has applied Kaizen principles to solve real challenges on the production line. Working alongside a supportive team has shown her the value of collaboration in achieving impactful results.

“This experience has not only deepened my appreciation for the automotive industry but also sparked my excitement for a possible career in manufacturing engineering.” 🚗💡

Congratulations to our Kara Caldwell Memorial Scholarship recipients, Amber Karimee and Gianna Melendez! We’re incredibly proud to celebrate both students and deeply grateful to the Caldwell family for their generosity in honoring Kara’s legacy.🌟

We’re proud to highlight Mayte Alvarado, who is halfway through her internship at Christus Santa Rosario Children’s Hospital as a Child Development Intern! 🌟

As a senior in the Honors Program and a full-time psychology student, Mayte has found it incredibly rewarding to connect with patients and their families as she pursues her goal of becoming a Physician Assistant in Pediatrics.

“I hope that through this internship, I can continue learning about essential child development theories and techniques, as well as gain broader insight into the healthcare field and the many doctors, nurses, PAs, and other specialists who work together to foster a culture of care and healing.” ❤️‍🩹

Origami Making Night was a huge success! 🎉 In collaboration with the Asian Culture Club, we had a fantastic time folding cranes for their Peace Crane Project! We’re almost at our goal of 1,000 cranes, and each fold is a step closer to spreading hope and peace.

Big thank you to everyone who joined in, earned service hours, and helped make a difference, one crane at a time!
