Hello, Fields Family! My name is Gina Galindo, and I’m excited to be part of the Fields Elementary community this school year! I am a Texas native who grew up in Corpus Christi and have called San Antonio home for over a decade. I’ve been an educator for 13 years and love supporting students in their growth and learning. I earned my Master’s degree in the Science of Reading from Texas A&M University–San Antonio and have a strong passion for early literacy and fostering the love of reading.

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my pups, friends, and family, playing board games, learning new things, and exploring new places. I’m grateful to be joining the Fields Elementary family and look forward to a great year filled with learning, fun, and special memories!

Hello everyone! My name is Ana, and I am excited to be joining the Fields Elementary team. I worked for the City of San Antonio for 22 years and enjoyed serving the community.
I love spending time with my family which includes my fiancé, Michael, my adult children, Jacob and Sara, my grandson, Ian and our sweet dog, Flor. In my free time, I enjoy my garden, caring for my plants and working out with my daughter.

I look forward to getting to know the families, the students and the staff and becoming part of the Fields Elementary community!

A huge thank you to our amazing teachers who came in today to help move more than 2,000 books and manipulatives! We are so thankful for your willingness to jump in and help. Fields is lucky to have such an incredible team that always goes above and beyond for our kids!
