Dolly Parton didn’t just fill the world with music. She filled children’s homes with stories, imagination and possibility.

The AVANCE familia joins people around the world in mourning the loss of a beloved artist and humanitarian whose generosity changed the lives of children and families everywhere.

Through Imagination Library of San Antonio, more than 100 AVANCE children enrolled to receive free books each month, and 40 graduated from the program. We are grateful to be one small part of the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

Thank you, Dolly Parton, for helping generations of children dream bigger. 💙📚

It takes a lot of people to make moments like this possible.

Teachers who care for and encourage our children. Parents who trust us to be part of their family’s journey. Staff who keep everything moving. And volunteers, partners, donors, and community members who believe in what we do.

Being a nonprofit truly takes a village, and we’re grateful for every person who is part of ours. ❤️

We're excited to share that AVANCE's founding program, the Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP), is expanding to the Texas Wintergarden region!

Beginning this fall, families in Uvalde and La Pryor will have access to our nationally recognized parenting education program, which helps parents build confidence, strengthen early learning at home, and create brighter futures for their children.

This expansion is an important step in bringing more opportunities and support to families across the communities we serve. We can't wait to welcome our first Wintergarden cohorts!
