📢 We are proud to share that Dr. Kaitlin Hill has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant to support the project “Collaborative Research: Conference: Texas Undergraduate Mathematics Conference 2025–2026.”
This initiative will introduce students to research pathways early in their academic journey while fostering research engagement and collaboration across Texas institutions.

Time to party with a cause and get ready for the big celebration as we are ramping up the festivities with our Homecoming Week right around the corner!
The Oyster Bake truly is a party with a purpose. 100% of the proceeds raised during the Oyster Bake goes directly back to the students of St. Mary’s University. By attending the Oyster Bake, you are helping further the education of students and help in their growth as future community leaders. Over the years your patronage has directly contributed millions of dollars in student scholarships and university programs and for this we can simply say, thank you.
And in case you were wondering, over the two days of Oyster Bake we go through 100,000 oysters and 32,000 chicken on a sticks with jalapeno!

Exciting news from the Gold and Blue with St. Mary's University about the new Blank Sheppard Innovation Center is a state-of-the-art hub where science, health, and the liberal arts converge to prepare students for the future of interdisciplinary health care.
Home to the new Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program and spaces fostering innovation across programs like public health, humanities, and exercise and sport science.
As Provost Jason Pierce, Ph.D., says, “We’re providing students with new academic and career options, as well as fostering synergistic research collaborations across campus.”
New labs, programs offer a wellspring for innovation at St. Mary’s The new Nursing Program at St. Mary's University, along with other new and revamped degrees in Public Health, Medical Humanities, and Exercise and Sport Science, further the University's mission of teaching holistic health.

Celebrating the spirit of the season with our upcoming Turkey Fry and
St. Mary's University annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Alumni Social.
Gather in Alkek Plaza for the Christmas Tree Lighting at 7 p.m., which will be followed by an Alumni Social in Pecan Grove from 8 to 9 p.m. Join us as we transform Pecan Grove into a snowy winter wonderland. The Alumni Association encourages you to bring an unwrapped, unused toy to support the St. Mary’s “Miracle on 36th Street” toy drive. Monetary donations are welcome as well.

The St. Mary’s University Alumni Association invites the St. Mary's University community and San Antonio-area alumni to the Annual Turkey Fry on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024. A traditional Thanksgiving plate will be served with each admission ticket.
The Annual Turkey Fry benefits the Miracle on 36th Street and the local community.
