Arpeggio Music Academy was happy to support the Esteven C. Sanchez Music Scholarship Foundation this year. Guerrina Esparza presented us with a lovely plaque! All donations help Middle School students in the San Antonio area to attend Summer Band Camps. It was a fun event and we encourage everyone to attend it next March!

Congratulations to 2 of our students, Amelia Causey and Clayton Ortega. They are finalists in Hill Country’s Got Talent! They will be performing at the Kendall County Fair on Saturday, October 21st at 7 pm . This will be a great show. Good luck to both of them!

Congratulations to Juliana DeSilva! She has achieved the highest number of awards of any Arpeggio Music Academy student in history! She consistently earned a “Superior” rating every year in Piano Solo, Vocal Musical Theater, Vocal Art Song and Music Theory for 9 years in our annual NFMC Festivals. Her highest award was a 60 point Gold Cup in Vocal Musical Theater. Her other cups include three 15 point Gold Cups, three 30 point Gold Cups, two 45 point Gold Cups and too many ribbons to count! Juliana just graduated from Brandeis HS and will now attend Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, majoring in Theater. Bravissimo Juliana!

Arpeggio Music Academy and Virginia Kane are proud sponsors of the Junior Jury Award and Bronze Medalist of the Gurwitz 2020 Winner, Leonardo Colafelice from Italy. He performed masterfully on Piano Concerto No. 3, Op. 26 by Prokofiev. We had great seats to watch him too! Virginia Kane presented Leonardo with his award.
