Early release reminder! ⏰

Wednesday and Thursday are early release days for all NEISD elementary schools. Please plan ahead for the adjusted schedule!

Early Release Hours: 7:25 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

We look forward to seeing our students for a great — and a little shorter — school day!

Today, our Pre-K students worked on strengthening their little fingers and building the fine-motor skills they’ll need for writing! ✏️

Using Q-tips as their “erasers,” they practiced erasing lines, slants, and curves. This fun activity helped them strengthen their finger muscles while also practicing how to properly hold and control a writing tool.

They had so much fun—and were getting some great writing practice along the way! 💕

A reminder that Monday, September 7 is a student and staff holiday. Our campus, along with all NEISD campuses and District offices, will be closed.

We hope our students, staff and families enjoy the extra day off! Rest, recharge and have some fun—we’ll see everyone back at school on Tuesday! 😁
