Animal Shelter Off of 151.

Join us this Sunday, September 28th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our Rabies Awareness & Prevention Art Contest, a free, family-friendly event inspired by the annual Texas Health and Human Services contest.

Led by our Animal Care Officers, this event will give kids the opportunity to create artwork that highlights rabies prevention, the importance of keeping pets vaccinated, and why it’s best to stay away from wildlife. All materials will be provided — just bring your creativity!

🏆 Prizes will be awarded to top entries, including ACS swag, custom pet tags, and a chance to win early access to our Dogtober Adoption Festival!

Families can also visit our “Ask an Animal Care Officer” booth, explore real ACO trucks, and learn how our officers work every day to protect pets and the people who love them.
