Stay dry out there raccoons! 🦝 ☔️

At Redland we have a traveling Oak Tree that gets passed around during our faculty meetings. It’s a way for staff members to highlight each other. This past meeting, Mrs. Bryson gave the Oak Tree to Patty, Anita, Dawn, and Lulu (our cafeteria staff) 🌳🦝

Here is what she said:
I want to give the tree to a team who helps all of our students during their favorite time of day. They interact with almost everyone on campus each day, and while these interactions may be brief, they’re also meaningful. They know how to keep the line moving while still making a personal impact.

The cafeteria staff are such an important part of our school community, and I want them to know how much we appreciate them. Their dedication is evident every day, from the hard work they put in behind the scenes to the smiles they share with students and staff.

I especially wanted to honor them because of the connection I’ve formed with them over the years. They always show kindness, patience, respect, and appreciation for students of all ability levels. We are so lucky to have Patty, Anita, Dawn, and Lulu on our campus!

NEISD is closely monitoring weather forecasts and local conditions. 🚌🌧️

Due to the potential for flooding and possible unexpected road closures, our school bus drivers will exercise extra caution to ensure student safety. This may result in delays or adjusted routes. The safety and well-being of our community remain our highest priority.

We appreciate your patience and encourage everyone to use caution when traveling in affected areas. Please check the NEISD website at neisd.net and follow social media channels regularly for real-time announcements and updates.
