Flying Insect Stings Hurt! 😣
With the weather being nice outside we tend to spend more time outdoors. So if you or someone does get STUNG by a flying insect be prepared.
DO NOT reach for tweezers or pinch the stinger out of the skin. Pinching with tweezers and/or fingers squeezes' the venom sac which pushes more venom into the body.
Just get a credit card, hard paper or use your finger nail to FLICK IT OUT in the direction it poked through the skin. Wash with soap and water, maybe an ice pain to help with pain and swelling. Be on the look out for swelling in face, neck and inside the mouth. If this happens, this person is allergic to the insect and needs HELP FAST. Call 9-1-1 or get to the closet hospital or Emergency Room. Benadryl will help if you have it on hand, while in route to hospital.
