✈️🌎 Teacher Appreciation Week continued today with our first stop… 🇲🇽 Mexico! 🎉🌮

As we celebrated Cinco de Mayo, our amazing teachers and staff were treated to delicious tacos and gorditas from Doña Kika’s Taco Truck as we honored our “First Class Staff.” ❤️

Students also joined in the fun by wearing their best fiesta outfits, bringing lots of color, culture, and excitement to our campus today! 🎊🌺🎶

We are so grateful for the dedication, hard work, and love our teachers show every single day. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our Carrillo Wildcats and for always going above and beyond for our students. 🐾✈️💙

Mientras celebrábamos el Cinco de Mayo, nuestros increíbles maestros y personal disfrutaron de deliciosos tacos y gorditas de Doña Kika’s Taco Truck mientras honrábamos a nuestro “Personal de Primera Clase.” ❤️

¡Los estudiantes también participaron en la diversión usando sus mejores atuendos de fiesta, llenando nuestro campus de color, cultura y mucha alegría! 🎊🌺🎶

Teacher Appreciation Week is officially cleared for takeoff at Carrillo Elementary! 🍎✈️

Yesterday, we kicked off our “Fuel Up Monday: Journey Around the World” celebration as teachers boarded ✨Carrillo Airlines 2026✨ for a week full of appreciation and fun!

Our amazing teachers were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring McDonald’s sausage biscuits, while our wonderful PTO provided fresh fruit and delicious sweet bread from San Antonio bakery. 🥐🍓❤️

Each teacher received their very own passport and boarding pass to their special destination as we begin this exciting journey celebrating the incredible work they do every single day.

At Carrillo, we know our teachers are more than educators — they are mentors, encouragers, role models, and champions for our students. Their dedication, patience, compassion, and love help shape the future one child at a time. We are beyond grateful for the countless ways they inspire our Wildcats each day. 🐾💙

✈️🍎 ¡La Semana de Apreciación para Maestros oficialmente despegó en la Primaria Carrillo! 🍎✈️

Ayer comenzamos nuestra celebración de “Fuel Up Monday: Viaje Alrededor del Mundo” mientras nuestros maestros abordaban ✨Carrillo Airlines 2026✨ para una semana llena de agradecimiento y diversión.

Nuestros increíbles maestros disfrutaron de un delicioso desayuno con biscuits de salchicha de McDonald’s, mientras que nuestro maravilloso PTO proporcionó fruta fresca y delicioso pan dulce de la panadería San Antonio bakery🥐🍓❤️

Cada maestro recibió su propio pasaporte y pase de abordar hacia su destino especial mientras comenzamos este emocionante viaje celebrando todo lo que hacen por nuestros estudiantes.

En Carrillo sabemos que nuestros maestros son mucho más que educadores — son mentores, motivadores, modelos a seguir y campeones para nuestros estudiantes. Su dedicación, paciencia, compasión y amor ayudan a formar el futuro de nuestros Wildcats cada día. 🐾💙

Part 2 of the Parade

🎉🐾 Carrillo Wildcats celebrated BIG this past Thursday as we combined our Fiesta Parade and Cinco de Mayo celebration into one amazing event! 🇲🇽🎊

A special congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, 5th grade teacher Mr. Martinez, who proudly served as our Grand Marshal! 👏🏽✨

Our beautiful Royal Court and spirited Wildcat Cheerleaders led the parade with so much pride and energy! 💙💛📣

Thank you to all of our families, students, staff, and community members for the incredible turnout and support. We had a GREAT attendance and truly enjoyed celebrating together as one Wildcat family! 🐾❤️
