🍎 Learning was extra sweet in Ms. Leal’s PK4 class this week! 🍏

This week’s theme was My 5 Senses, and students had plenty of hands-on opportunities to explore, create, and learn!

On Thursday, our little Cardinals put their senses to work with an apple taste test and graphed their favorite apples. They also practiced their writing skills, explored with apple-shaped play dough, and created colorful apple patterns. 🍎🍏

On Friday, the apple adventures continued with an exciting science experiment—apple volcanoes! 🌋🍎 Students wrapped up a fun-filled week by making a delicious apple in a cup treat.

From tasting and touching to observing, experimenting, and creating, it was a wonderful week of learning through the senses! ❤️

💗✨ We had a whole lotta country and a whole lotta Dolly! ✨💗

Our students and staff celebrated Dolly Parton Day in true Dolly fashion—country attire, plenty of pink, bedazzled outfits, bling, cowboy boots, and even some fabulous Dolly shirts! 🤠💎🎀

Beyond the sparkle, we celebrated an icon whose heart for children and literacy has helped put books into the hands and homes of millions of little readers. 📚❤️ Through her Imagination Library, Dolly Parton has helped make the joy of reading more accessible to children and families around the world.

Today was the perfect reminder that you can dream big, shine bright, and help others along the way. Our little Cardinals sure showed Dolly some love! 💕📚🤠

Car hang tags have been distributed for all students in general education classes. Please check your child's backpack or take-home folder. We are phasing out the yellow car tags. Yellow tags cannot be used after October 7.

Students received one tag, whether or not they are a regular car rider. Families may also use the tag when picking up a student early. If a family needs an additional tag, they may purchase one for $5 cash in the front office.

🎓💼🇺🇸 Dream Big, Little Cardinals! ❤️

Our students and staff showed up with plenty of spirit for our weekly College, Career & Military Readiness Day! From representing favorite colleges and universities, to dressing for future careers, to proudly supporting our military, our Little Cardinals are already beginning to explore the many possibilities their futures can hold.

It’s never too early to expose young children to the opportunities ahead of them. When we help them learn about college, careers, and military service, we’re planting seeds of curiosity, confidence, and BIG dreams! 🌟

Today they may be Little Cardinals, but their futures are full of possibilities! ❤️🎓💼🇺🇸

Cameronlee was an amazing assistant and did such a wonderful job helping with this special responsibility. ❤️🤍💙 We love giving our Little Cardinals opportunities to learn, lead, and take pride in caring for our school and our flag!
