TMI’s very own Pato O’Ward ’18 just made INDYCAR history! 🏆
What a weekend at the Milwaukee Mile! Pato swept both INDYCAR SERIES races, adding two more wins to his career total and making history in the process.

12 career INDYCAR wins
The most career wins by a Mexican driver in INDYCAR history.

Two wins. One day.
Only the second driver in INDYCAR history to accomplish the feat.

One of just seven.
Pato joins an elite group of just seven drivers ever to win two INDYCAR races on the same day.
Congratulations, Pato!

We want to share that the Celebration of Life for Matt Thomas '97 has been canceled.

This decision was not made lightly, but at this time, it is simply too difficult for the family to move forward as planned. They appreciate your understanding, compassion, and continued support during this incredibly hard time.

Thank you for keeping the family in your thoughts.

On Tuesday, February 24th, Lisa Rivera, Admissions Counselor for Boarding Students at TMI, visited St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Amarillo, Texas. She had the pleasure of visiting with 7th and 8th grade students and parents to share how boarding school can be an exciting option and to highlight the unique experience and close-knit community of TMI.

The visit was especially meaningful as St. Andrew’s Head of School, Jessica Leibowitz Morris (TMI Class of 2000), is a proud TMI alumna who wanted her students and families to know that boarding schools can be a great option.

Jessica shared the following reflection about her TMI experience:

“It was such a gift to reconnect with TMI and to reflect on how profoundly those years shaped me. TMI Episcopal gave me the space to try all the things, to be stretched in the classroom, to find my voice on the stage, to compete on the court, and to grow in leadership and service. It was a place that expected much of me and, in doing so, helped me see what I was capable of becoming. I often tell prospective parents that my time at TMI is likely one of the reasons I now serve as Head of School at an Episcopal school; it formed in me a deep appreciation for whole-child education grounded in faith, challenge, and opportunity. To reminisce about that season was both grounding and energizing, and I remain deeply grateful for the foundation it gave me.”
— Jessica Leibowitz Morris, TMI Class of 2000

This visit reflects the strong connections within the Episcopal school community and our shared commitment to helping students and families explore educational pathways that support growth, purpose, and possibility.
