Miller Child Development Center Inc.

Miller Child Development Center Inc. Miller Child Development center was founded in 1969 by Mrs. Hazel T. Miller, a renowned San Antonio educator, and her husband Mr. Johnnie Miller. The late Hazel T.

The historic Miller Child Development Center Inc. is one of the oldest child development centers on the Eastside of the city of San Antonio. Miller along with her husband Johnnie Miller, founded the Miller Child Development Center at the age of forty-three in 1969. They realized that there was a tremendous need for child development on the east side of San Antonio, and designed a childcare program that catered to all children regardless of race, creed, or socio-economic backgrounds. Johnnie and Hazel Miller opened their first childcare center in their home September 1969, which later became The Miller Child Development Center Incorporated in 1971.
