Flannel/plaid day at NAHS!

NISD will provide Online Tutoring & Attendance Recovery during Thanksgiving Break. Students can take the opportunity during the break to get help with assignments or earn attendance recovery.

We celebrated Dia de los Mu***os in style at last week!

Our Fine Arts classes, taught by Ms. Lauren Smith, painted giant skeletons and paper mache masks. The Theatre Arts & Other Fine Arts classes created movie and TV show sets.

Mrs. Chavarria's and Mrs. Buenrostro's Spanish students studied Day of the Dead traditions of creating an altar. Each student created their own mini shoe box altar for a deceased Hispanic figure.

Mrs. Pola's CTE classes painted mini skull pumpkins (PHS), baked and decorated Catrina cookies (Culinary), and designed fashionable Day of the Dead outfits (Fashion).

Mr. De La Rosa's CTE Shop classes made CO2 wooden race cars.

The students' work was on display in the gym for a Culture Fair Gallery Walk activity.

Our Art Teacher & NAHS Educator of the Year, Mrs. Mojica, is amazing! Check out all of the FIESTA projects students produced in her class this year.
