Marion High School Theatre competed in the 3A UIL One Act Play State Meet and had a tremendous showing, placing in the Top 5 in the State for our division. We received the following individual awards:

Honorable Mention- Xavier Franco in the role of Stevie
All Star Cast- Adair Goodwin in the role of Jess

This marks the end of a historic contest season for Marion, returning to the State Meet for the first time in over 30 years. This company has poured everything into this beautiful story of resilience, recovery, and remembrance for a very long time over an incredibly successful contest season. And although it is bittersweet to say goodbye to this piece of art, our cast and crew will forever hold the spirit of this story and the memories of their bond as state qualifying team.

Marion High School will be competing in the 3A State Meet today at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center! For those of our supporters driving up to see us perform, the contest starts at 3:00 PM and the shows run back to back in 2 sessions.

Session 1 (Shows 1-4): 3:00 PM- 6:10 PM
Session 2 (Shows 5-8): 6:30 PM- 9:40 PM

We are 5th in the contest order so we are the 1st show of session 2, and will be performing around 6:30 PM. Please arrive early if attending as no late arrive will be permitted!

Tomorrow Marion High School Theatre competes in the 3A Region IV UIL OAP Meet, and will be fighting for our chance to move on to State! We need your support! We are performing at Southwest High School at around 1:00 PM! ARRIVE EARLY, sometimes the contest runs early and no late admission will be permitted!! Visitors must sign into the front office before being admitted into the theatre!

As we are preparing for our Region Contest appearance, we are happy to announce that we will also be performing this award winning show back home in Marion for our friends and Families!
