The new SACR (SA Climate Ready) 2035 plan is seeking community input to hear what matters to YOU the most regarding how our city focuses our resources on important and critical environmental issues. As the city develops the plan, they need your participation in this quick survey. Responses will be accepted unitl August 14, 2026.

We are truly grateful🥰 for the response from our community during our week of U-Pick-It flower days. We were so excited that we are extending the event for 2 more days next week! On July 8th and 9th (Wednesday & Thursday) you can come by for the last week of flower bouquets! After that, the garden beds will be cut down to prepare for the fall planting season! Hey all of our nature lovers:
Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept (TPWD) invites you to help plan the expanded Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, one of Texas’s most beloved outdoor destinations.
TPWD recently added over 3,700 acres to the natural area, more than doubling its size. The newly acquired property includes granite uplands with sweeping Hill Country views, rolling prairie with views of the iconic Rock dome, and areas along Sandy Creek.

Starting Monday, June 1 until Friday, July 24, the Alamo Colleges District will switch to a 4 day work week. Our business hours are extended until 7pm which gives everyone even more time to stop in for a workshop or to pick up some flowers!
