A successful start to August!

​Starting a new routine takes time, but over the last two weeks, our little learners have done an incredible job:

​Learning Routines & Rules: Building positive habits, listening skills, and respect for our shared spaces.

​Making Friends: Practicing kindness, cooperation, and social-emotional growth every day.

​Hands-On & Water Play: Cooling off with sensory water activities while exploring STEM concepts and practicing fine motor skills.

​Outdoor Adventures: Navigating the tricycle track, playing together, and cheering each other on.

​Watching them adapt, bond, and thrive in the classroom has been the highlight of our month!

What an incredible, fun-filled month July has been! From splashing in the sun to celebrating special milestones, our days were packed with laughter, water play, and sweet summer memories. It was all about enjoying the warm weather, making the most of every sunny afternoon, and coming together as a daycare family.

This month is always sweet and a little bittersweet. It marks the final month for our wonderful group heading off to "big kid school!"

​We are so proud of our new kindergarteners and all the growth, curiosity, and joy they brought to our days. While we are truly going to miss seeing their bright faces every morning, we know they are going to do amazing things in kindergarten. Remember, this isn't goodbye—it's just a "see you later!"

​Water Play & Outdoor Fun: We beat the heat with plenty of outdoor splash time, cool water games, and outdoor play.

We loved celebrating July birthdays together with treats, songs, and extra smiles!

July gave us the perfect chance to reconnect, build new friendships, and simply focus on having fun together.

Thank you to all of our wonderful families for making this summer so special. We are so grateful for each and every child and can't wait for all the adventures ahead!

What an incredible week of summer fun, play-based learning, and a spectacular Parents’ Night Out tonight!

​We have been having the best time enjoying the summer, staying active, and learning through hands-on play all week long! To top off an amazing week, a wonderful daycare parent surprised me with a beautiful cake for my birthday! A huge thank you to that parent—we all thoroughly enjoyed sharing that delicious treat together!

Tonight, we wrapped up the week with our Parents' Night Out, complete with lots of summer laughter and refreshing sensory water play! After splashing away, we sat down for a big dinner, which the kids officially rated a "10 out of 10" and a "million out of a million!"

​My heart is so full knowing how safe, loved, and happy these sweet children are in my care. Enjoy a few of our favorite snapshots from our birthday celebrations, summer play, and tonight's big event!

Breakfast with Dad 2026 was a huge success!

​What a beautiful morning celebrating our amazing dads! The kids treated them to a wonderful song performance (they were just excellent!), surprised them with handmade gifts, and served up a breakfast so delicious that the tables were completely emptied!

​Thank you to all the dads who took the time to join us and make this morning so bright. You are all true superheroes!

Yesterday, my heart was so incredibly full as I watched these wonderful little people graduate from Stay and Play Care Home! 🎓✨

​I am so, so proud of this preschool class. They have grown, learned, and filled our space with so much joy and laughter. While they are more than ready for kindergarten, they will always hold a special place here. 💖

​A huge, heartfelt thank-you to all the amazing families who came out to celebrate with us.

Thank you for entrusting me with your precious children and for being such a supportive part of our Stay and Play Care Home family. We did this together!

We may be stepping into June, but we couldn’t move forward without sharing a look back at all the incredible fun we had in May! From kicking off the early taste of summer to splashing around and loving every minute of our outdoor water play, our little ones made the absolute best memories.

​Thank you to our amazing families for a wonderful month. Now, we are ready to dive into June and all the exciting summer adventures ahead!
